NATURAL SMOKE AND HEAT EXHAUST SYSTEMS, ROOF LIGHTING SYSTEMS

Designation: the MCR-PROLIGHT vents are automatic smoke exhaust devices designed primarily for removing smoke, gases produced by  the fire, and heat from closed interiors (production floors, storage spaces, public facilities). Smoke vents pertain to preservation of human lives and property since they enable:

• keeping the escape routes free of smoke

• making fire-fighting easier by keeping the lower air layers free of smoke

• facilitating the fire-fighting action

• protecting the building structure and appurtenances

• limiting fire losses caused by smoke, hot fire gases, and products of the thermal decomposition process

• the base of steel sheet, mounted perpendicular or parallel, with straight or profiled flange

• leaf screens: acrylic or polycarbonate domes, PC cavity sheets of any thickness, or aluminium sandwich for flat vents
