Vertical Discharge Mixed Flow Roof Fans

Impeller
The unique mixed flow impeller comprises two dishes of forced aluminium that contain polyamide blades whose special shape and position provide the machine with both axial and centrifugal properties.

Housing
The fully recyclable housing is made of high-grade HDPE (High Density Poly Ethylene, RAL 9002) and is suitable for use in all weather conditions. The base of the fan can be adjusted to allow DIN-compliant channel connections. Other RAL colours are available from Mech-Elec at a modest extra charge. The exhaust side of the unit is fitted as standard with a protective grille. The supply cable can be connected directly using a service switch or motor protection service switch mounted on the fan.

Noise
See the technical specifications sheets for noise data per fan type. Note: Roughly allow for a 3 dB margin due to external causes.

Special models
Roof fans used for exhausting corrosive vapours are coated.
